Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion, and belief, including the right to adopt and to hold opinions without interference.

This right protects what we think as well as our personal, religious or moral, beliefs.
You’re free to think what you like, believe what you like, and follow any religion, or none at all, that you choose. The government (State) cannot force beliefs on anyone, and it must protect your right to hold and change your own views
This right is absolute in its internal sense: the government cannot seek to control what anyone believes in their own mind.
The outward practice of these beliefs (such as sharing them with others) is covered in Section 15.
