The ethics of vaccine mandates

Philip Matthews has written a very good article in Stuff which discusses some of the ethical issues around vaccine mandates. It recognises that vaccine mandates do infringe on our rights and discusses the possible justifications for this, as well as why some people might not agree with those justifications. The article features contributions from bioethicist Angela Ballantyne, legal academic Simon Connell, medical ethicist John McMillan, and our own Deputy Chair Andrew Ecclestone.
