The Committee of the NZ Council for Civil Liberties make its monthly meetings open to anyone who wishes to attend, either in-person or online.

A typical meeting includes:
- Discussion of the various projects that members are engaged in
- Chat about the civil liberties issues of the day
- Responding to correspondence
If you wish to bring up a particular issue, we ask that you communicate this by email to the secretary@nzccl.org.nz beforehand.
Meeting dates for 2019
First Wednesday of each month:
- February 13th (second week due to Waitangi Day)
- March 6th
- April 3rd
- May 1st
- June 5th
- July 3rd
- August 7th
- September 4th
- October 2rd
- November 6th
- December 4th (social function at Flamingo Joe's)
All meetings take place between 6.00pm and 7:00pm at St Andrew's Centre, 30 The Terrace, Wellington. Our usual room is the Rainbow Room, but check the display in reception in case of changes. Meetings are often followed by dinner at a nearby pub or restaurant.
Accessibility
St Andrew's Centre has a gentle ramp with hand-rail from the street to the reception area, and a lift to the floor where the Rainbow Room is located or stairs with a hand-rail. Seating is ordinary cushioned chairs which we are happy to move to accommodate wheelchairs, and there is no need to book a spot.

Remote access is currently not available.
Our regular meetings and the AGM are available over the internet through the use of Zoom video conferencing.
